Location: Charles Carroll Community Center

This course will give participants a certification in the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. The First Aid/CPR/AED course is a blended learning course, with a portion of the course completed online prior to the in-person section. Refunds are not available for any costs associated with the First Aid/CPR/AED portion of the online class with the Red Cross.
Objectives:
To provide teens who are planning to babysit the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsively to children and infants. This course will teach teens leadership skills and knowledge to keep themselves and other safe.
Babysitter books are required for class, they can be purchased for $17 each, or the student may borrow a book for the course.
